Terry Harbor Covenant Restrictions

Terry Harbor is a covenanted and restricted subdivision of 14 blocks.

T.H.P.O.A. is currently researching the original covenants and restrictions in the neighborhood and would like to update, amend and record all restrictions on one record so that buyers, agents, etc. can easily find the property restrictions.

The objective is not to make restrictions more onerous but to update, simplify and enforce existing restrictions to maintain property value and safety.

To accomplish this, we will need to have a majority vote from each block vote to amend their restrictions and be filed.

We are currently working on how to accomplish this vote.

Property owners can go to Livingston Parish Geo-Portal and find their block and lot number. Below, please see the recorded restrictions for your lot.

Basically, blocks 1-10 restrictions are the same and blocks 11-17 are the same.

 

Blocks 1 and 2, located on Rainy Drive and Tickfaw Drive were developed first and the restrictions were first recorded on

January 7, 1972 in record COB 165, page 348 and later amended in COB 432 page 839 on August 24, 1984 only in as far as restriction No. 9.

 

Block 3, located on Fairway Drive, has the original restrictions and were filed in COB 199 , page 597 on May 27, 1975.

 

Blocks 4 and 5, located on Cypress Drive and Rivergate, has the original restrictions and were filed in COB

202, page 310 on July 25, 1975.

 

Block 6 - researching.

 

Block 7, originally consisting of 7 lots, re- subdivided in 2023 no recorded restrictions found.

 

Blocks 8 and 9, located on the corner of Keila and Camille, restrictions are the same as the original restrictions and were filed in COB 255, Page 811 and amended on May 9, 2016.

 

Block 10, flanked by Keila, Camille, Ponchatrain and Fairway, researching.

 

Block 11, located on Swamp Drive, had 8 additional restrictions added and was recorded in COB 791, Page 550 and amended on May 8, 2007.

 

Block 12, 13 and 14, located on Rivergate Circle, were subsequently re-subdivided into lots in King's Point Subdivision.

 

Block 15, 16 and 17 located on Fairway Drive and Keila have the same updated restrictions as Block 11. Filed in COB 767 page 949 and recorded on July 17, 2000.
